Personally i think digital footprints could become an issue and it creates issues for people already. Why do i say this? Your digital footprint may even costs you your dream job. I personally know a guy that lost his job because of his digital footprint. He accidentally showed his colleague something on his phone which she reported and he eventually lost his job. I personally work in a school environment and if i had to employ teachers i would want to see their digital footprint. According to (Internet Society, 2019) a digital footprint paints a picture of who the person really is compared to a CV that you may have seen. Therefore digital footprints could become a problem for people but not everyone. If you have nothing to be concerned of when it comes to your digital footprint it means the way you are doing things online is correct and you are aware of the impacts the footprint may have in the future.
